What you'll do here
You work on software people use every day, from the first sketch to years after launch.
From idea to maintenance
You follow a project from the first sketch through release after release. What you build, you help maintain.
Close to the client
You talk to clients and users yourself. There's no account manager in between.
Our own platform
You help build Nimbu, the EU platform that more than 250 people work in every day.
Work that matters
Our clients work in (mental) health, care and wellbeing, tech and the social sector.
AI in everyday work
We use AI in our own development work and build it into client projects. You get to learn both.
Our stack
For each project we choose what fits the problem and the people who will manage the software later, never a technology just because it's new. These are the tools you'll use most often here.
Back end and platform
Elixir and Phoenix (LiveView), Ruby on Rails, Node.js and PostgreSQL. Larger platforms get their own custom back end. Websites and web platforms are often built on Nimbu, our own platform.
Front end
TypeScript, React and Next.js, Vue.js and Tailwind CSS. Headless CMS and GraphQL where the project calls for it.
Mobile
React Native with Expo and Flutter for iOS and Android, plus Swift and Kotlin where native works better. Also apps that talk to devices over Bluetooth.
Cloud, AI and integrations
Go, Docker and Kubernetes for hosting and deployment. Python and LLMs for AI applications. Integrations with SAP, Odoo, Salesforce and Mollie, among others.

We are looking for an experienced software engineer (Ruby, Elixir) to strengthen our team in Leuven.

In October 2026 we found out that scammers are posting fake vacancies in Zenjoy's name, including on Indeed. They ask candidates to pay through a payment link. Those vacancies are not ours. All our vacancies are listed on this page. We only email from a @zenjoy.be address and never ask candidates for money: no registration fee, no payment link, no deposit.

Internships at Zenjoy
Every year we mentor a few interns, mostly in computer science and design. You work on real projects, as part of the team and in the office.
Beyond the projects
We work together at the office on Blijde Inkomststraat and see each other outside work too: over coffee in town, over dinner or on a Christmas trip.
