AI consulting and guidance
AI raises questions. Which step takes you forward?
Your team is trying out tools, you have built an app yourself, or you see opportunities in how you work. We help you decide what makes sense, what needs attention and how to move forward.
What is AI guidance?
AI guidance helps your organisation put artificial intelligence to work where it matters. Through advice, a review of your AI-built app or a roadmap for your team. Zenjoy and Ethic combine product development with expertise in responsible data use.
We are our own first customer.
Since the first day of ChatGPT, November 2022, we have worked with AI every day at Zenjoy. Not as an experiment on the side, but in the work itself: research, design, code, review and documentation. What we learned along the way, we pass on.
Where are you stuck today?
You want to give your team room, with clear agreements on data, oversight and responsibility.
Choosing a tool only works once it is clear what you want to solve. Sometimes one conversation is enough to move forward with focus.
With Lovable or another AI building tool you can get far. Before you rely on it, you want to know how the code, access and the location of your data stand.
There are many possibilities and little time. You are looking for priorities that fit your staff, processes and available data.
You don’t need to find the right tool first. You do need to get clear on which question you want to solve.
A question, an app or a plan for your team.
Choose the guidance that fits where you are. Each service stands on its own.
One concrete question. One hour for your AI question. You leave with concrete action points.
- Test an idea, weigh up a tool or talk through an obstacle.
- Online or on site, with a short written summary.
Already built something with AI? A sober look at your AI-built app. A clear report with risks, priorities and improvements.
- We look at the code and technical setup, for example of a Lovable app.
- What we examine, which access is needed and the timing are agreed up front.
A plan for your team. One working day with your team, then an advisory note with a concrete step-by-step plan.
- With preparation and an online debrief.
- We examine how your organisation works, weigh up the options and decide which steps come first.
Where that experience comes from.
Three places where we learned what AI delivers, what it costs and where you are better off without it.
Three years of daily AI in our own team.
Tools adopted and dropped again. An AI policy with firm agreements on data. Retros where we honestly worked out where AI saves time and where it doesn’t.
Explaining AI to 120 people who don’t work with it every day.
An open workshop with 20 participants and group workshops for 100 staff members of A.R.T. Tienen. About the AI landscape, prompting and how to set up a responsible AI policy.
Reviewing what was built with Lovable, Replit or Base44.
Organisations built an internal tool themselves and asked us to look it over. What works, what breaks and what you had better not take into production. No names, at their request.
We start with how your organisation works.
Zenjoy brings experience in designing and building digital products. Ethic.studio brings expertise in responsible AI and data governance. Together we look at what your team needs and which choices fit.
You can act on the advice yourself or bring in another partner. If you want help building, improving or integrating a solution, we agree that next step separately.
Choosing AI Reality Check or AI Roadmap? This is how it works.
Already have a concrete process you want to automate? See AI workflowsPrepare
We agree on the question, the scope and the access we need. That way we work with focus afterwards.
Examine
For AI Reality Check we look at the code and technical setup of your app. For AI Roadmap we spend one day with your team: processes and needs in the morning, tools, data flows and AI opportunities in the afternoon.
Write up the advice
You receive a clear report or an advisory note: findings, priorities and concrete next steps.
Debrief together
We discuss the result online and decide what you need to move forward with it.
Anything else you want to know?
AI Pitstop suits one concrete question. AI Reality Check is for those who have already built an app with AI and want it reviewed. With AI Roadmap we work out with your team where AI makes sense and which steps come first.
You don’t need to make that choice in advance. Tell us briefly what you are dealing with: an idea you want to test, doubts about an app or the need for a plan. In a first conversation we look at which guidance fits. The one-hour sparring session of AI Pitstop is a separate service.
During an AI Pitstop we spend one hour sparring on one concrete AI question. For example: is our idea feasible, which tool fits how we work, or how do we tackle an obstacle in an ongoing project? The conversation can take place online or on site.
You receive a short written summary with concrete action points. That way you can discuss the considerations with your colleagues too. If your question calls for a thorough app review or a plan for the whole organisation, we look at which next step is needed. That falls outside the sparring hour.
An app that works doesn’t tell you enough about its security. You also want to know who can view or change data, how the app handles sensitive information and what happens when something goes wrong. That calls for an assessment of your app and the way you intend to use it.
Lovable has built-in security checks. A human review can complement those by assessing the findings in the context of your application. With AI Reality Check we look at the code and technical setup within the agreed scope. You receive a report with risks, priorities and recommended improvements. This also works for apps built with another AI building tool.
AI Reality Check is a human review of the code and technical setup of your AI-built app. Up front we agree which parts we examine, which access that requires and when you receive the report.
Depending on that scope we look at, among other things, security and access rights, data processing, reliability and maintainability. Can a user, for example, only see the data intended for that user? And can a developer understand and adapt the app later on?
The report describes what we checked, which problems or points of attention we found and what needs attention first. You receive recommended improvements you can act on yourself or with a developer. Implementation is agreed separately.
No. AI Reality Check delivers an assessment and a report within the agreed scope. It is not a security certificate and no guarantee that an app is fully secure or meets all legal obligations.
We make clear what we examined and where the limits of the review lie. That way you know what a finding means and which questions need further investigation. The assessment covers the version and setup we reviewed; later changes may bring new points of attention.
No. We start from the work you want to improve. Sometimes AI helps, but sometimes an existing tool, an integration between systems or a clearer way of working is enough. That can be the outcome of our advice too.
We look at the expected added value, the available data and what the solution asks of your team. A proposal has to fit your day-to-day operations. If you already have a concrete process you want to automate with AI, guidance on AI workflows can be a fitting next step.
AI Roadmap covers preparation, one working day with your team, a strategic advisory note and an online debrief. You receive a concrete, phased step-by-step plan with findings and priorities for your organisation.
During the workshop day we look at your processes and needs with the team in the morning. In the afternoon we examine tools, data flows and AI opportunities in a smaller group. We then write up the advisory note and discuss it with you online.
The day is about your own operations and choices. So it is not a general training in AI tools. Building or implementing a solution is a possible next step that we agree on separately.
We look at which data an application needs, where it ends up, who has access to it and who checks the results. We also discuss which information staff may or may not share with an AI tool.
Ethic.studio brings expertise in responsible AI and data governance: the agreements on data use and responsibilities. Questions around GDPR and the AI Act are considered in the context of your application. Where further assessment is needed, we make that visible. The advice is not a general declaration that a tool or organisation meets all legal obligations.
No. You can act on the action points, the review report or the advisory note yourself, with your own developer or with another partner. You are not obliged to place the implementation with Zenjoy as well.
If you do want further help, Zenjoy can work with you on building, improving or integrating the solution. We agree the content and scope of that next step separately. That keeps it clear what belongs to the guidance and what belongs to the implementation.
Yes. We start from your work processes, your staff and the people you work for. In healthcare, wellbeing and the non-profit sector, the sensitivity of data and the consequences of errors deserve extra attention.
Zenjoy brings experience from digital projects such as S.Tool for KU Leuven and UZ Leuven and the FoodWIN platform. Those projects show our experience with data and day-to-day work processes. Together with Ethic.studio we look at where AI can meaningfully support your context and which agreements and controls are needed. We start with a concrete question from the organisation.
Which AI question keeps getting pushed aside?
Tell us what you are dealing with. We help you think through a first step that fits your organisation.
You talk to someone who thinks along on substance. No obligation, no standard pitch.
