The brief
Praktijk Perspectief supports children, young people and those around them from its practices in Bree and As. Karis and Kim could largely manage the existing WordPress site themselves, but security, spam and updates demanded attention they would rather have given to their practice. The site also offered little scope for adding a bespoke learning platform.
At the same time, they wanted to offer support beyond sessions at the practice: giving parents, caregivers and professionals access to knowledge, exercises and courses at a time that suits them. The new website and these digital services therefore needed to form a coherent whole.
That ambition raised more questions than a conventional website could answer. An enquiry needs to be followed up at the right location. The team needs to assess the request, respond and track its progress. A course needs a clear structure, payment and access for the right participant, for the agreed period. And in blended care, resources and reflection activities need to support the sessions.
The brief for Zenjoy grew into a coherent digital platform: a public website that conveys the practice’s identity, a manageable enquiry process and a learning environment where Praktijk Perspectief can build and offer its own programmes. Throughout, we kept one feeling in mind: anyone who reaches out should feel welcome, take a seat, tell us what brings you here.
Approach
Plenty of possibilities, without a cumbersome platform
Praktijk Perspectief’s content did not fit a single, rigid course format. Together, we looked for a way to structure programmes clearly while leaving room for video, exercises, reflection, follow-up and personal contact. Every additional feature had to be useful both to the team and to the people working with the material.
The result was a bespoke solution within the available budget, without overloading the learning platform. That choice made the programmes manageable for the practice and familiar to its audience.
A website that makes clear who the practice is here for
The website brings together the services for children and young people, parents and other caregivers, and professionals. Visitors can find information about the practice’s approach, locations and courses. Praktijk Perspectief’s warmth comes through in the navigation and imagery. The digital welcome needed to feel just like the practice: there is time to tell your story.
Digital intake, human triage
The online form gathers the information needed to assess an enquiry and direct it to the right location. In the dashboard, the team can view enquiries by location and status. Staff can respond and update their progress. Care professionals retain responsibility for the assessment; the platform supports their work.
Project discussions focused on exactly this day-to-day use: do messages still arrive in the inbox, when does someone receive a confirmation, and what steps are needed between an initial enquiry and an appointment? These questions shaped the dashboard and communications.
Structuring, offering and providing access to courses
Praktijk Perspectief can build courses from modules containing video, assignments, exercises and downloadable resources. Some programmes are entirely online; in others, digital components complement sessions at the practice or in a group. The public PP Online environment presents the available courses and helps visitors find one that suits them.
The webshop handles enrolment and online payment. After a successful payment, the system grants the appropriate access rights. Participants can find their purchased course in a personal dashboard, for the configured access period. This brings the course offering, payment and use of the content together in one process.
Blended care with room to go at your own pace
To support care at the practice, we also developed a private resource library and a personal programme. Exercises and reflection activities can be used between sessions. The practice can also offer an online care programme such as Samen onderweg, with a clear structure and support where this is included.
This extension called for a different approach from a conventional course. The project notes show how we worked together on a usable library, individual follow-up and enough flexibility for families to move at their own pace. Digital support thus takes its place alongside human contact.
Result
Praktijk Perspectief now has one coherent foundation for information, enquiries and online learning. The team can follow up requests by location. Participants can buy courses online and gain access to the right content. Clients receiving support have a digital space for resources and reflection between sessions.
This allows the practice to reach a wider audience and keep young people, parents and professionals engaged with relevant content and supported between sessions and courses. The platform gives that relationship a place beyond each appointment, without replacing the practice’s personal work.
A snapshot from September 2026 shows the scale of the platform:
- 894 enquiry records in the digital intake channel
- 339 customer accounts in Nimbu
- 12 courses structured in the learning channel
- 364 course access records, which do not represent unique participants
- 85 programme records for the digital client environment
These totals are system records. They do not demonstrate a clinical effect and, on their own, say nothing about time saved or satisfaction. They do show that the website now supports more than public information alone.
The social purpose lies in combining care with wider reach: Praktijk Perspectief can make knowledge and exercises available to parents, caregivers and professionals, while the team continues to provide personal support.
