Zenjoy is a software company based in Leuven. We design and build web applications, portals and mobile apps around the way your organisation works. We also handle integrations and maintenance after launch.
What does Zenjoy do as a software company?
We build software that helps people do their everyday work: track requests, manage data, record measurements or give customers access to their records. We map the users and processes, design the screens and build the application with the integrations it needs. If an existing tool or an integration is enough, we include that option in our proposal.

From measurement forms to a web platform
For Rikolto, we built a platform to measure food waste in institutional kitchens. Kitchen teams can enter measurements by meal and department; coordinators get statistics and exports for analysis. The platform also supports paper measurement forms for teams that are not ready to work entirely digitally. Rikolto is testing it with the first organisations.
A patient app and research environment
For a research team at KU Leuven and UZ Leuven, we built an app to track bowel symptoms. Patients record their data in the app. Researchers manage studies and export data through a separate web application. This connects everyday use with the research work.

From the first conversation to a usable version
You do not need a specification yet. In our first conversation, we discuss users, processes, existing software and the data you need. We also look at what you want to keep managing yourself.
Together, we decide what needs to be usable first and what can follow later. You receive a proposal with scope, budget and phases, plus separate agreements on hosting and maintenance.
During development, we test the main tasks with the people who will use the software. That lets us make adjustments before it becomes part of your daily work.
Software changes as your organisation evolves. We agree on updates, support and further development, so everyone knows who is responsible for what.

Questions about working with Zenjoy
No. Our team works from Leuven for organisations across Flanders and Brussels. We agree on which conversations and workshops need to happen in person and which can take place online.
No. A specific problem or a process that involves a lot of manual work is a good starting point. We first map the users, data and existing systems before defining the solution.
We investigate which integrations are possible and what access they require. We look at the available interfaces, data quality and which systems will remain the source of truth. Sometimes an integration is enough and a new application is not needed.
Ownership of the custom code and data, and access to repositories and accounts, are set out in the contract. We also agree on hosting, maintenance and handover if you later decide to work with another team.
Mainly the processes, user roles, integrations and existing data. We estimate a clearly defined first version and discuss what can follow later. Hosting and maintenance are shown separately in the proposal.
