Commissioned by the Flemish Community, Cebam developed a website that translates scientific health knowledge into accessible and understandable information for the general public.
Cebam was looking for a partner to help develop the Health and Science website. The goal was to translate information, originally aimed at doctors, for a broad audience and make it easily accessible. The challenge was to position this reliable source above non-validated information in search results.
For the implementation, they therefore sought a web agency that could both design the website with its underlying database and provide support in search optimization and marketing. We started with the organization from a blank slate to shape the concept and underlying architecture.
Starting with room for growth and exploration
In a rapidly changing context, it was important to be able to shift, adapt, and experiment quickly. By providing both technical support and broad input, we helped enable rapid evolution and gave Health & Science the necessary creative oxygen and editorial degrees of freedom to grow. With now more than 1 million unique visitors per month, we seem to have succeeded in our goal.
The complete package we could offer at Zenjoy was very welcome here. The expertise within the organization needed support in various areas. Our team thought along, developed concepts, and provided critical adjustments when needed or requested. Moreover, we also ensured that the whole was robust and scalable enough to effortlessly handle traffic peaks from the start.

For Health & Science, we developed a website where a growing database of patient guidelines, combined with an active news stream, is easy to maintain.
Over several years, both the information types (dossiers, first aid, podcast, ...) and visitor numbers grew. And the look & feel also received a timely refresh.
